This mist humidifier uses a wick to absorb water. Then the water is evaporated by a fan. This method is a natural form of evaporation system technology. The evaporation rate will slow as the humidity in the air increases, so this mist humidifier type is self-regulating humidified. The disadvantage of this wick type mist humidifier is the noise created by the fan. But for some people said that the sound relaxes and helps them to have good sleep.

Ultrasonic

The ultrasonic mist humidifier style creates a mist through sound waves that vibrate the water. This type of mist humidifier is nearly silent to human ears. We will find that this ultrasonic type always uses a demineralization filter which will trap minerals before they are released into the air. Ultrasonic mist humidifier also comes with a heating option for consumer convenient choice.
